Debu Note, the movie

Posted on Thursday 14 June 2007

Running out of figurines to shoot, and because of the lack of nice figurine releases, i stumbled upon this video last night. It’s a DEATH NOTE parody “debu note” (translate by : “fatty note”). It’s a crappy video, it’s not really funny and it’s performed by a bunch of bad actors and cheap special FX. In a word it’s bad. So bad that it’s just kind of video i like, so bad that it turns into pure genuine.

Sushi rules are.

I know many of you enjoy eating sushis. Some folks here in our crew, even eat sushis once a day and got “i love sushis” tattooed on the right cheek (yeah, the one they sit on). But do you know about Sushi rules? This hypnotizing video will learn you all the code of the “perfect sushi eater”, from entering in the sushi-ya, to the salt finger on exit.

This video has been made by Japan Culture Lab, a studio that provide other videos about the Japanese culture (It would have been strange they call themselves “Japanese Culture Lab, and make videos about growing potatoes in Russia). Anyway, enough BS for now, let’s press that fancy play button.

After the 100 visitors milstone, it’s the V2.0 milestone we just passed. Spent my night working on that (with some vodka to keep me awake), my eyes (the one i see with, you pervs’ XD) are bleeding, and I’m almost sleeping as I’m writing this. So, just share the love in the comment section if you feel like telling me what a great designer I am :D and have a nice weekend-end.

102 visitors yesterday, the new skin is on it’s way.

I told the writers about that :”Soon as we reach the 100 visitors a day, I’m re-designing a skin for the big baby”. Yesterday was that day, and i shed a tear when i saw that OtakuKun has been visited by 102 “cute users” with 935 impressions. Way to go to the glory you might say, but I’m quite pleased about that result, that i take for a good start. So I’m in the re-designing process of my dear blog, to give it the look it deserves.

You may have noticed some changes in the layout, like the admin panel in the top right corner, for an easy access to your account. The avatar system, which allows you to pick your avatar from the gallerie I’ve made once you’ve posted at least one time (if you want a custom avatar, just send it to me and I’ll make it happen).

I’d like to thank y’all for visiting my Blog everyday and i wish you an awesome day.

Koyori (sengoku Blade) Tsukasa Bullet

Koyori’s gallery

So here comes Koyori from Sengoku Blade from Tsukasa Bullet. It’s a 1/6 figure (25cm) and she’s a pure beauty. I was bloging about the cast-off ability lately, but she gives the word a whole new meaning. She’s fully “cast-offable”. That’s quite amazing, when you look at the clothes, their complexity and the details. However, she don’t derogate to the cast-off rule, and the separation lines between the parts are clearly visible :(. I don’t recommend to take her clothes off, unless you want to showcase your figure naked, cause you may have some problems to re-adjust all the clothes like they were in the first place. The body proportions are awesome and pretty similar to those of Tsukasa Bullet’s illustrations, and Koyori shows gorgeous curvy shapes(her “eyes” are quite big ^_^’). The paint work is very precise and the shading effects are really awesome too.
A rarely-seen-quality in the PVC world and surely a must have for all Tsukasa Bullet fans and all of you guys (and girls) who like sexy figures.

Here’s a wallpaper for you, feel free to leave a comment if you like it ;)

Castoff, la nouvelle mode

Posted on Wednesday 6 June 2007

A message for my fellow foreign readers. I plan on publishing my articles in both french and english but I still didn’t find a way tu make this right. I don’t want to have the french text and its translation in the same post and i obviously don’t want to run a second blog either ^_^. So, I’m looking into some AJAX plugins to make a link in the post that would swap the french text with the english one without reloading the whole page…So I guess you just have to be patient and you’ll soon be able to appreciate my french humor ! BTW, this post just ask a simple question : do you prefer cast-off ability even if the quality of the figure decrease in the process, or do you think this “ability” is useless and only made for pervs :D ?

Rei Ayanami (Evangelion) Gathering edition

Posted on Saturday 2 June 2007
